As a child in England during World War II, Stewart was influenced by the U.S. 8th Air Force and the support that he and his family received from these generous soldiers. Their actions committed Stewart on his eventual but certain path to America.
From an early age Stewart sketched and painted. He attended The Royal Academy of Art in London and in 1958 received his degree in Fine Arts & Graphic Design. In 1962 he was recruited by Lennen & Newell Advertising on Madison Avenue in New York.
In 1965 Stewart was drafted into the U.S. Army and served honorably. Due to his obvious talents and military areas of expertise, Stewart has also been active with and contributes to the U.S. Air Force Art Program.
Stewart lives with his wife in Newport Beach, California where he has his studio. For more information, contact us.
